Audi of America president Johan de Nysschen has resigned after more than seven years at the helm. Though his replacement is unknown at this time, the move is expected to be officially announced imminently.
Executive shuffling is taking place elsewhere within the Volkswagen group as well. Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer will leave his position at the British luxury marque to assume the role of Audi’s head of research and development, according to Autocar. Taking Durheimer’s place will be Wolfgang Schreiber, current speaker of the board at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Details on de Nysschen's successor are slim at the moment. Stay tuned for more updates on the situation at Audi.
