Acura ZDX Sees Modest Price Increases for 2011 Model Year, Starts at $46,505

#Acura, #ZDX

Acura's ZDX is one of the brand's most ambitious products ever, but it has only sold 3006 units through the end of November. Pricing for the 2011 ZDX will begin at $46,505, $150 above a 2010 model.

All ZDXs continue to use Acura's 3.7-liter V-6 making 300 horsepower and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and 19-inch wheels come standard on every ZDX.

Opt for the Technology Package ZDX, at $51,005, and you'll get a navigation system that links to traffic and weather information, a keyless entry system, multi-view rear camera, and an advanced sound system. The top-of-the-line ZDX with the Advance Package includes high-tech features like a blind spot information system, adaptive cruise control, Collision Mitigating Braking System, perforated Milano leather, upgraded materials on the headliner, and the Integrated Dynamic System active damper system.

After a slow launch month in December 2009, November 2010 proved to be the ZDX's worst sales month so far. Does the ZDX need to sell well to be a success or does it function adequately as a halo vehicle for Acura?

All prices include a destination charge.
