German tuning haus 9FF has leaked some details about its latest creation, the Speed9. The company pays homage to Porsche's first production car, the 356, which debuted in 1948.
9FF has transformed a 997 turbo by boosting horsepower to the 650 mark. Brakes, intake, and exhaust have all been upgraded to fully maximize the 997's potential. The stock ECU has been tuned to 9FF standards also. The rear seats have been concealed by a presumably carbon fiber cover that gives the car that true speedster appearance. A slightly shortened windshield finishes off the look.
Seating surfaces have been granted diamond quilted Alcantara fabric, as well as custom embroidery. The dashboard and steering wheel have both been covered in Alcantara fabric.
The company has prepared the car for the annual Essen Motor Show, in Essen, Germany. The show runs from November 28 through December 5. The event is very similar to our SEMA show, which took place earlier this month, but as one might guess it features mostly German vehicles.
