The all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue debuted today with a sticker price of $23,350, including an $860 destination charge. That's an increase of $2180 compared to the base price of the 2013 Nissan Rogue.
The 2014 Nissan Rogue, which will be sold in Europe as the X-Trail, is longer and more spacious than the outgoing crossover. As a result, the new model packs an optional third row of seats, a feature that isn't found in most of the Rogue's key crossover rivals. All versions of the 2014 Nissan Rogue use a 170-hp, 2.5-liter inline-four engine and continuously variable transmission, with both front- and all-wheel drive available.
The aforementioned entry price of $23,350 affords buyers a 2014 Nissan Rogue S with front-wheel drive. Adding all-wheel drive costs $1350 on any model. The Rogue S comes with 17-inch wheels, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, a backup camera, air conditioning, power windows, and more. The $1190 S Family Package adds a third row of seats, tinted windows, and run-flat tires.
The next step up is the 2014 Nissan Rogue SV, which costs $25,090 with front-wheel drive or $26,440 with all-wheel drive. It adds 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, tinted windows, push-button start, a power driver's seat, satellite radio, roof rails, and automatic headlights.Standalone options include an auto-dimming mirror ($305) and fog lights ($310). The $1320 SV Moonroof Package adds a panoramic moonroof; the $1420 SV Premium Package bundles navigation, the AroundView 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning, lane-departure warning, and a power liftgate; and the $940 SV Family Package adds a third row of seats and run-flat tires.
The top tier is the 2014 Nissan Rogue SL, which starts at $28,930 with front-wheel drive and $30,280 with all-wheel drive. It builds on the SV model with leather seats, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, 18-inch wheels, the AroundView camera, fog lights, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The only available upgrades are a $305 auto-dimming mirror and the $1990 SL Premium Package, which offers a panoramic moonroof, LED headlights, blind-spot warning, lane-departure warning, and forward collision warning.
The 2014 Nissan Rogue goes on sale in November.
