2014 Infiniti QX50 MSRP Chopped by $2500

Infiniti is bringing the price of the 2014 Infiniti QX50 (formerly the 2013 EX) closer to demand by chopping the price by $2500. As before, the 2014 QX50 is offered with rear- or all-wheel drive, and exclusively with a 325-hp 3.7-liter V-6 and seven-speed automatic. The Infiniti QX56 enters the 2014 as the QX80 and has an unchanged base price.

The base rear-drive 2014 QX50 starts at $35,395, while the rear-drive 2014 QX50 Journey starts at $37,745. All-wheel-drive adds $1400 to either trim level. All QX50 models include standard leather seating, hands-free keyless entry, and a rearview camera as well as dual-climate control, an eight-way power driver’s seat, and four-way power passenger seat. Journey models gain a power moonroof with power shade, Bluetooth, auto-dimming outside mirror, maple interior trim, and power tilt/telescoping wheel. Heated front seats are standard on all but base rear-drive models. More features such as navigation and Bose audio system are available in option packages.

Pricing for the full-size flagship 2014 QX80 SUV is unchanged from the 2013 QX56. The rear-drive QX80 starts at $62,345 including destination, while all-wheel drive adds $3400 to the bottom line. All QX80 models are powered by a 400-hp 5.6-liter V-8 with 413 lb-ft of torque mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

For 2014, the $3250 Technology package (adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and intervention systems, lane departure warning and prevention systems, forward collision warning) gains a Backup Collision Intervention (BCI) system. Other available options include 22-inch wheels ($2450), a $3100 entertainment system, and a $4650 Deluxe Touring package that adds Hydraulic Body Motion Control, a 15-speaker sound system, Mocha Burl trim, cooled front seats, semi-aniline leather seats, and a climate control system with an air purifier.
