2014 Infiniti Q50 Priced Starting at $37,605

Infiniti has released official pricing for the new 2014 Infiniti Q50. The base Q50 3.7-liter V-6 model starts at $37,605 with destination. Although initial pricing was released at the New York Auto Show in March, Infiniti says that those numbers were for a special, pre-sell offer which only applies to Q50s ordered by June 30, 2013.

The 2014 Infiniti Q50 will be available in 329hp, 3.7-liter V-6 and 354hp, 3.5-liter Hybrid models, both of which are available with rear- or all-wheel-drive. The Hybrid will offer an estimated highway fuel economy rating of 36mpg.

The all-wheel-drive system will carry a $1,800 price premium for all Q50 models. The 3.7-liter V-6 model is available in standard, Premium, and S trim levels, while the Hybrid is available only in Premium or S variants. All Q50 models can be ordered with either rear- or all-wheel-drive. The Hybrid starts at $44,855 with destination, and the most expensive version, the Q50S Hybrid AWD, starts at $49,055.

The Q50 will compete in the cutthroat entry-level sport sedan segment against models like the BMW 3-Series, Cadillac ATS, and Lexus IS, all of which have been significantly updated or introduced within the past year. On paper, the Infiniti offers an impressive package, with the highest power output and the lowest base price of the group. See the chart below for how the Q50 stacks up against the rest of the class.
