2014 Honda CR-Z Priced at $20,785

2014 Honda CR-Z

You may have forgotten about the Honda CR-Z, but the small hybrid coupe is sticking around for 2014 with a minor price increase of $20 across the range. After a few updates to the car last year including more power and updated styling inside and out, the 2014 Honda CR-Z is unchanged this year.

The 2014 Honda CR-Z now starts at $20,785 with destination for the base six-speed manual model. The CR-Z’s hybrid powertrain mates a 1.5-liter four-cylinder with a 15-kilowatt electric motor for a power output of 130 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission is also available starting at $21,435, which gets EPA mileage ratings of 36/39 mpg city/highway, up from the manual’s 31/38 mpg city/highway.

The CR-Z is also available in EX and EX with Navigation trim levels, which start at $22,630 and $24,130, respectively; picking the CVT adds $650 to each of these trim levels. Over the base trim, the EX adds HID headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an aluminum shift knob, fog lights, and a premium audio system. On top of that, the EX with Navigation adds GPS navigation, a backup camera, and Pandora Internet radio integration.

The Honda CR-Z is one of the slowest sellers in Honda’s lineup, with just 3546 sold so far this year, but it is notable as the only hybrid in the U.S. available with a manual transmission. The 2014 Honda CR-Z goes on sale this week nationwide.
