2014 Honda Accord Priced from $22,745

2014 Honda Accord group.

Pricing was just announced for the 2014 Honda Accord sedan and coupe, and both models receive a $275 price bump for 2014. The Accord also gains a second Hybrid model to join the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In that was launched earlier this year. Honda says pricing for the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, which uses Honda’s new two-motor hybrid system, will be announced soon before it goes on sale in October.

The 2014 Honda Accord sedan in base LX trim now starts at $22,745 with destination, and the coupe in base LX-S trim starts at $24,415. Both of these come standard with six-speed manual transmission mated to a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine; a CVT is an $800 option on the sedan and an $850 option on the coupe. The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in starts at $40,570, and we would expect the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid price to slot in below the Plug-in but above the conventionally powered Accord sedan.

After a complete redesign last year, the 2014 Honda Accord receives minimal changes for 2014. An automatic dimming rear-view mirror is now standard, and LX models receive new cloth seat fabric. Accord models equipped with the V-6 have a new finish on the dual exhaust tips, and models with a leather interior have softer headrest padding.

Although the price increase may seem slight, the 2014 Honda Accord is now slightly more expensive than competitors like the 2014 Nissan Altima and 2014 Ford Fusion, which start at $22,650 and $22,695, respectively. The only key midsize sedan competitor more expensive than the 2014 Accord is the 2013 Toyota Camry, which starts at $23,045.

The 2014 Honda Accord sedan is available in LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, EX-L with navigation, EX-L V-6, EX-L V-6 with navigation, and Touring trims. The 2014 Honda Accord coupe includes LX-S, EX, EX-L, EX-L with navigation, EX-L V-6, and EX-L V-6 with navigation trims. Both 2014 Honda Accord sedan and coupe models will go on sale this week.

All prices include destination.
