2014 Ford Fiesta ST Starts at $22,195, Base Fiesta at $14,795

Pricing for the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST has been announced. It'll cost interested buyers $22,195 to get into the new pint-sized hot hatch when it goes on sale later this year. For those looking for something a little less sporty, Ford has also announced that the base 2014 Fiesta will start at just under $15,000.

The 2014 Fiesta ST's base price is slightly less than its Focus ST big brother, which is listed at $24,495 to start. The Fiesta ST comes standard with Ford's 1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 which makes 197-hp and 214 lb-ft of torque in the Fiesta ST application, and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Notable options include a slick set of gray wheels for $375, navigation is $795, and the Recaro bucket seat option will set you back $1995, making it one of the cheapest cars going with available Recaro seats. Fully loaded, the Fiesta ST rings the register at $26,195. A similarly equipped Focus ST is just over $30,000.

Though pricing for 2014 Fiestas equipped with the new 123-hp and 148-lb-ft 1.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost I-3 hasn't been announced yet, Ford has released revised pricing for cars with the base 1.6-liter I-4, which makes 120-hp and 112 lb-ft of torque. Base Fiesta S sedans with a five-speed manual will start at $14,795, while base Fiesta S hatchbacks start at $15,395. Top-of-the-line Fiesta Titanium models equipped with the six-speed dual-clutch automatic go for $20,090 (sedan), and $20,690 (hatch).

Excellent car.

Let's see opt for one oversize golf cart or another oversize golf cart. I think I'll take the real car instead.
Ricardo Planells

Matthew G Amack
Yes, Ford ST!!
Rick Taylor
Yes.
Orin O'Neill
They're both built in Mexico, FWIW. But I'd take the Fiesta because it has a useful back seat.
Michael Almaguer
I think I'd take the FIAT Abarth but if I could scrounge enough money together get the Fiesta ST, lol
Andrew Denk
according to fords future vehicles the intro price is 21,400 without destination charge...can't wait...looks to be a great little car...
Miles Krasic
Lancia Stratos
Bob Pegram
Ah, but will it successfully hunt overpriced Mini Cooper S-es? Let's hope so! 8-)
Chuck KidneyStone
Looked at both and the ST has the win. Love the looks better with the ford too. More performance is all a bonus!
Stephen Boehme
I'm leaning towards the Ford, but a test drive would be in order. Foreign cars have a way with being more refined.
Thomas Voelker
Still not swoopy enough design on it's flanks.
Tim Lucas
Yes! Fiesta looks better too!
Paul Graziano
I'd still rather have the Abarth - better looking, and doesn't have those 2 unneeded doors...
Rob Vance
Yup.
Kyle MacDermaid
^^^ Haha, he can't drive stick.
Dammy Onafowokan
Neither. Too little car for the cash
Joseph Whiskey Beale
With two doors and a dual clutch automatic yes, as it is now, total fail.
Matt Simmons
The 500 Abarth came to play, the Fiesta ST came to win.
Richard Macintyre
I can't believe I'm saying this but the American has more personality and looks better but my experience with Chrysler dealer service alone would push me into Ford territory if I had to choose between he two.
Matthew G Amack
absolutely would take the Fiesta St!!!
Andrew Cavett
The Fiesta is larger, has five doors and isn't cute. So yeah, I'll take the Ford
Kyle MacDermaid
$24,500 as I'd take it. Not bad.
Jay Klein
Um, yeah?
Kyle MacDermaid
The abarth doesn't way a lot less.
Mitch Jackson
Hell yeah. The Focus is so much better looking and you get so much more for your money.
Craig Stishenko
Fiesta is more practical. 4 doors.
yynotnnh nnhtonyy
I would have to test drive both. The fact the Ford has 4 doors it may get a win more than the FiatĀ
Twilight Sparkle
No. The Aberth is allot better looking and even tho it doesn't have as much hp as the ford i bet i weighs allot less.
Steven Tha Boss
With that money, ill buy a Mercury Maurader instead.
CarRolodex
This fact has blown my mind! RT @automobilemag: 2014 @Ford #FiestaST starts at $22195, 505 less than Fiat 500 Abarth. http://t.co/jh3HBSlkyS
