2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Gains Neiman Marcus Edition

A new Neiman Marcus special edition of the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is taking the British convertible supercar to new levels of exclusivity, luxury, and price. Featured in the upscale department store’s annual Christmas Book, only 10 of the Neiman Marcus special edition Vanquish Volantes will be sold in the U.S.

For $46,505 more than a standard 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, the $344,500 Neiman Marcus edition doesn’t change much other than its exclusive Seychelles Blue exterior paint (not pictured here). The Neiman Marcus edition also offers a bespoke leather luggage set but otherwise remains the same as any other 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante.

The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is a convertible version of the Vanquish and is powered by the same 565 hp, 5.9-liter V-12 engine. This engine mates with a six-speed automatic transmission which puts power to the road through the rear wheels. The Vanquish Volante can reach a top speed of 183 mph and features a fully carbon-fiber shell for lighter weight and a stiffer structure.

Sales of the Neiman Marcus 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish will begin on October 23, 2013 on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This is not the first Neiman Marcus special edition vehicle, as the luxury department store has previously offered versions of the McLaren MP4-12C Spider in 2012, the Ferrari FF in 2011, and the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible in 2010. All of these vehicles sold out within hours of going on sale, so expect these 10 Aston Martins to go quickly later this month. The lucky 10 owners will receive their cars by February 2014 at the latest, so they will be among the first Vanquish Volante owners in the U.S., as Aston Martin said the car will go on sale here “early next year.”
