Sticker prices for all versions of the 2014 Acura TSX will rise by $125, the automaker announced in a statement. That puts the starting price for a 2014 Acura TSX sedan at $31,530 (including an $895 destination charge), while the TSX Sport Wagon starts at $32,880.
The standard 2014 Acura TSX comes with a 2.4-liter inline-four engine rated for 201 hp, a five-speed automatic transmission, automatic HID headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, perforated leather upholstery, Bluetooth, and an audio system with iPod and satellite radio connectivity. The next step up is the 2014 Acura TSX Special Edition, which adds ebony interior trim with red stitching, red instrument illumination, and a new body kit. It costs $32,530, and the Special Edition is also the only trim level on which buyers can select a six-speed manual transmission at no extra charge.
After that comes the 2014 Acura TSX with Technology Package, at $34,630, which adds a 415-watt sound system, navigation, and a backup camera. The most expensive version of the 2014 Acura TSX sedan is the V-6 with Technology Package, which substitutes the 2.4-liter engine for a 3.5-liter V-6 with 280 hp.
The 2014 Acura TSX Sport Wagon is only offered in two trim levels and only with the 2.4-liter engine. The base model costs $32,880 and the with Technology Package is $36,530. The only difference from the sedan is that the tech package's upgraded sound system pumps out 460 watts instead of 415, and that the package includes a power liftgate.
The 2014 Acura TSX is on sale now, although the Sport Wagon won't hit showrooms September 27.
