2014 Acura TL, 2014 Honda Pilot, 2014 Honda Ridgeline Priced

Honda and Acura have revealed changes for more of the companies' products for the 2014 model year. The 2014 Acura TL, and 2014 Honda Pilot, 2014 Honda Ridgeline are on sale now.

The 2014 Acura TL receives no major upgrades for the new model year. Customers continue to choose from a 280-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that drives the front wheels, and a 305-hp, 3.7-liter V-6 that turns all four wheels by way of the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). Pricing for the 2014 Acura TL starts at $36,925 (including an $895 destination charge), an increase of $125 compared to the 2013 Acura TL. That price afford a base model with the 3.5-liter engine; upgrading to the 2014 Acura TL SH-AWD and 3.7-liter V-6 costs $40,475, which also represents a price bump of $125 compared to last year's model. The Special Edition package, which debuted last year on the 2013 Acura TL, continues this year.

The biggest change for the 2014 Honda Ridgeline is the addition of a Special Edition package. Available from November, the package has unique 18-inch wheels with black spokes, special badges, and the black-trim option from the Ridgeline Sport. Pricing for the 2014 Honda Ridgeline RT starts at $30,405 (including an $830 destination fee), up $125 from last year's truck. The Ridgeline Special Edition will cost $38,335 when it becomes available in November, maybe it the priciest version of the Honda truck. This may be the last year for the Honda Ridgeline -- reports suggest the model will cease production next year, and that an all-new Honda Ridgeline will arrive for 2016.

There are no real changes for the 2014 Honda Pilot, the company's three-row SUV. The only powertrain choice remains a 3.5-liter V-6 with 250 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, and a five-speed automatic transmission. Pricing for the 2014 Honda Pilot starts $30,500 (including $830 destination) for an LX model with two-wheel drive, up just $150 from last year's model. The top-spec 2014 Honda Pilot trim is now called Touring, rather than EX-L; the fully loaded Touring 4WD with Rear Entertainment and Navigation costs $42,240, an increase of $150 compared to the 2013 Pilot EX-L 4WD with Rear Entertainment and Navigation.
