2013 Lexus GS 350 Price Revealed, Starts at $47,775

With the fourth-generation Lexus GS 350, you get more without spending more. The GS was thoroughly re-worked for 2013, and while we would expect there to be a price increase, Lexus has announced the base price remains unchanged from the 2011 model. The restyled and re-engineered GS will still have a base price of $47,775 (including a $875 destination fee) while the all-wheel drive version starts at $50,325.

So what exactly would buyers be getting without shelling out more money for the all-new GS? The same 3.5-liter V-6 as the 2011 model still appears under the hood, but with a slight power bump to 306 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. It also rolls on an all-new platform, and features all-new front and rear suspension. The design has also changed to give the GS a more aggressive look, including Lexus’ new signature "spindle grille" and flared wheel arches. The interior also got a major refresh, featuring a more driver-centric design theme.

For $1,400, the premium package adds heated and ventilated front seats, a power rear sunshade, and rain-sensing wipers. The new GS 350 is also available in Luxury and Sport trims, with the Luxury package including even more amenities like a wood and leather steering wheel, rear audio controls, 18-way power front seats, and adaptive suspension. Checking this box off will set you back a cool $5,750, while the GS F Sport brings the complete sport suite for an extra $5,690.

GS F buyers will gain a further dressed up with redesigned fascias, 19-inch wheels, larger brakes, perforated-leather interior, aluminum trim and pedals, and dynamic handling packing with variable-gear-ratio steering . But to enjoy the massive 12.3 inch split-screen display on any GS, buyers have to opt for the navigation system, which costs $1735.

The new 2013 Lexus GS 350 will start arriving in showrooms in early February.

For $48k, It would have been nice to see the 3.5 with more power. Infiniti, Cadillac, and Hyundai V6 have more HP. Don't listen to me, I'm not buying one.

I hope in person it has more curb appeal.. It looks like a larger IS-F. The interior looks nice. Would be nice to see leather in that color in Toyota products.
