2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Profile
Hyundai today announced pricing for the 2013 Santa Fe crossover, which was introduced last fall at the Los Angeles auto show. The Santa Fe starts at $29,195, after an $895 destination charge, and reaches $35,695 for the top-of-the-line model.
All versions of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe use a 3.3-liter V-6 engine with 290 hp, and a six-speed automatic transmission. The entry model is the Santa Fe GLS front-wheel-drive, which comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, seating for seven, LED taillights, LED running lights, keyless entry, Bluetooth, Hyundai's BlueLink telematics service, satellite radio, and more. Upgrading to the GLS all-wheel-drive bumps the price to $30,945 and includes a windshield de-icing function.
The $950 GLS Popular Equipment package adds roof rails, fog lights, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, heated front seats, a power driver's seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The $4100 GLS Leather and Navigation Equipment package adds a power passenger seat, heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, an eight-inch touchscreen navigation system, a backup camera, an upgraded sound system, and dual-zone climate control.
The next step up for the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is the $33,945 Limited front-wheel-drive. It builds on the GLS Popular Equipment pack with 19-inch wheels, a power liftgate, push-button start, six-passenger seat with leather on all three rows, a power passenger seat, a 4.3-inch touchscreen audio system, a backup camera, dual-zone climate control, and a 115-volt power outlet. Adding all-wheel-drive pushes the price to $35,695.
The only option package for Santa Fe Limited models is the $2900 Limited Technology package. It includes an eight-inch navigation system, 550-watt Infinity sound system, panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, and rear-window sunshades.
Hyundai also offers a smaller, five-passenger crossover called the Santa Fe Sport. Despite the similar names, the two models are very different; the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport starts at $25,275 after destination charges.
