2013 Dodge Dart Gains Three New Packages

Dodge has introduced three new packages for the Dart compact sedan that bundle together a number of pieces of often-ordered equipment. By offering a Special Edition on both SXT and Limited trims and a Rallye Appearance Group on SXT models, Dodge is hoping the Dart will present an even better value equation to its customers.

Dart SXT buyers can choose from both equipment and aesthetic upgrades. Adding the $595 Special Edition package adds things like dark-tinted headlights, fog lights, a black crosshair grille, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, front-passenger seat in-seat storage, remote start for automatic-equipped cars, a vehicle information center, tire pressure monitoring display, active grille shutters, and a more aerodynamic undertray. The Special Edition package effectively replaces the $495 Popular Equipment group, but also adds a number of connectivity features and the black exterior accents.

For an even racier look, buyers can also choose the new Rallye Appearance Group for their Dart SXTs. The package draws on – you guessed it – the up-level Rallye trim and includes a black front fascia, 17-inch Hyper Black wheels, and Rallye badging. The aesthetic add-ons costs just $395; however, it requires the selection of the Special Edition package.

Buyers looking to maximize the luxury quotient of their Dodge Darts can look no further than the new Limited Special Edition package. Building on the top-spec Limited trim, adding such niceties as heated Nappa leather seats, a heated steering wheel, racetrack LED taillights, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. Pricing is a very-reasonably $1810, meaning that a fully loaded 2013 Dodge Dart Limited Special Edition with all the option boxes ticked will run $27,430, including destination.

Both of the new packages are starting to roll into dealerships now.
