2013 Cadillac XTS Priced at $44,995, Hits Dealerships in May

The 2013 Cadillac XTS has officially been given a price tag. Cadillac has today announced that its new full-size luxury sedan will start at a cool $44,995, including destination. Cadillac will offer four trim levels on the 2013 XTS: Base, Luxury, Premium, and Platinum. Platinum will feature an in-your-face grille, unique wheels, and special interior trim. All XTS sedans use a 3.6-liter 300 hp V-6 with 264 lb-ft of torque, a six-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. A Haldex-based all-wheel-drive system will be available, though Cadillac has not yet specified how much the system will cost. In the smaller Cadillac CTS, all-wheel drive is a $3200 extra. Designed as a replacement for the DTS and STS, the 2013 XTS will be the first Cadillac sold with the CUE infotainment system (the ATS and SRX get the system later this year.) To familiarize potential owners with CUE, Cadillac will be offering a CUE iPad app that mimics the system's screen. For those needing more help, Cadillac will support the system through the XTS' standard OnStar system. Cadillac has not yet announced pricing for the 2013 XTS' different trim levels, though it's likely coming soon considering the XTS launches in May. Until then you can build your own 2013 Cadillac XTS right here. Source: Cadillac
