2011 Infiniti G25 Starts at $31,825; FX from $42,475

Want to put the entry-level 2011 Infiniti G25 in your garage, driveway, or carport? Dealers will soon have the G25 from $31,825, which includes an $875 destination charge.

Expected to compete against the likes of the Audi A4, BMW 328i, and Lexus IS 250, the Infiniti G25 wears familiar G Sedan styling but puts a smaller engine to use. A 2.5-liter V-6 with 218 horsepower and 187 pound-feet of torque resides beneath the smooth Infiniti hood for the first time in the United States. The seven-speed automatic transmission will handle power transfer from the engine to the wheels.

Although the G25 is intended to appeal to a wider audience, Infiniti did not skimp on the features. Content and equipment packages are nearly the same as the pricier G37 variant and the G25 Journey includes more premium kit for $33,225. The added cost includes a rearview camera, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and automatic headlights. Customers desiring all-wheel drive can spring for the G25x at $34,825.

The 2011 FX performance crossover has also been priced. The base FX35 is $1250 less compared to the 2010 model year, starting at $42,475 with rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive bumps the FX35's MSRP to $43,925 and the range-topping FX50 settles the lineup at $57,275, which is $2600 cheaper than a comparable 2010 version.

All pricing includes a $875 destination fee.
