2011 Ford Fiesta priced at $13,995

Interested in building a 2011 Ford Fiesta online? Ford now offers its online configurator for the 2011 Fiesta. With the five-speed manual sedan starting at $13,995 (including $675 for destination), the Fiesta fits almost any budget.

In sedan form, the Fiesta is available in three trims, the S, SE, and SES. All Fiestas are available with a five-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch transmission. A base Fiesta S sedan starts at the $13,995 price tag, while one with the six-speed auto starts at $15,065.

The SE sedan adds standard remote keyless entry and a chrome-accented grille, and it retails for $14,995 ($16,065, if you want the six-speed), about $1000 over the S. And the top-of-the-line sedan, the SEL, adds Ford's Sync technology, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and Sirius satellite radio. Pricing is exactly $2000 higher than the SE, coming in at $16,995 for the manual and $18,065 when paired to an automatic transmission.

Pricing for the slightly more upscale four-door hatchback starts at $15,795 for an SE with the five-speed manual, and $16,895 with for an SE with the six-speed automatic. The SES hatchback is similar to the SEL sedan in that it features 16-inch alloy-wheels, Sync, and Sirius radio. Pricing for the SES is $17,795 in manual form and $18,895 for the automatic.

Leather seats can be added to SES and SEL models for a reasonable $715. SES and SEL models can also be fitted with heated front seats, chrome accents, and a push button start for an additional $795. Vehicles with a manual transmission can be equipped with a $390 Illuminated Interior package, which features lighted door sills and an illuminated shift knob.

Ford's launching a reservation system for the Fiesta, and if you happen to reserve an SE model now, Ford will throw in Sync and an uplevel audio system for free (normally a $595 option).

I agree the price point is up there, but the american Fiesta will compete with the Fit on features for sure. Me and my friend have been chosen by Ford to help launch the American Fiesta so we were briefed on the features in Detroit and the voice control and other interior features are improved from the European version BIG time. We have a microsite on the Fiesta Movement site (www.http://www.fiestamovement2.com/chicago) and you will find out exactly when we're doing launch events yadda yadda. do the 'follow us' and we'll make sure you stay informed. it's our job ;) - J
I've been eagerly awaiting the new Fiesta, especially the hatch. Of course though, I have to whine. An automatic Fiesta SE hatch is $1k more than a SE sedan and $1k more than the base Honda Fit. Once you add more options you're close to a well equipped Focus. I liked the european colors a bit better too. It will also be interesting to see where the Mazda 2 comes in price-wise.
So, we get the ridiculously over chromed sedan and won't be getting the 3 door model. Great.
