BMW may have unwrapped its facelifted 2011 3-series coupe and convertible earlier this week, but it didn’t show us what a forthcoming M Sport package would look like. Thanks to leaked photos that appeared on BMW fan site Bimmerfile, we know now.
Like the 2011 3-series facelift itself, the changes made to the new M Sport package are subtle. The unique front fascia retains the three lower air intakes and angular corners, but its upper surfaces are more blistered than before. Aggressive side sills and a taller rear valence are still part of the package, as are your choice of 18- or 19-inch aluminum wheels.
We’ve yet to see the finalized content of the new M Sport package, but we’d expect it to be quite similar to the current option group, which also includes blackened exterior trim, sport seats, and an M-badged steering wheel. Expect these models to arrive shortly after the 2011 3-series coupe and convertible this spring.
