2010 Nissan Armada, 2009 Nissan Murano 360° Pricing Announced

Earlier this week, Japan's number three automaker announced pricing for its Armada SUV and introduced an all-new value package for its midsize Murano crossover.

While Toyota hiked the price of the 2010 Sequoia up significantly, Nissan is holding the line on pricing for the 2010 Armada. The Armada SE 4x2 can still be had for $37,990, while the new top-of-the-line Armada Platinum Edition 4x4 will start at $52,970. Last year, the Armada LE sat at the top of the lineup, with a starting MSRP of $45,890.

All 2010 Armadas are powered by a 5.6-liter V-8 engine making 317 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Customers can opt for a flexible fuel-capable variant of the engine on any available trim level.

Nissan has added two new packages to the Armada lineup, the Titanium Edition and the Platinum Edition. The Titanium Edition includes Nissan Intelligent Key, leather seating, a rearview camera, a Bluetooth hands-free phone system, a Bose audio system with eleven speakers, a power split-folding third row seat, and auto-leveling rear air suspension. The Titanium Edition can be had as a 4x2 for $42,920, or as a 4x4 for $45,720.

The Armada Platinum Edition includes all Titanium Edition features, and adds heated front seats and steering wheel, a power rear liftgate, a moonroof, a rear seat entertainment system, XM NavTraffic, and a 9.3 gigabyte Music Box Hard Drive. The 4x2 Platinum Edition will run you $57,770. Nissan says the Platinum Edition pricing represents savings of $1100 compared with a similarly equipped 2009 LE with packages and options.

Nissan also announced the introduction of the all-new "360° Value Package" to the 2009 Nissan Murano lineup. The package adds Nissan Intelligent Key, a Bluetooth hands-free phone system, an iPod adapter, metallic-finish 18-inch alloy wheels, silver-finish roof rails and a dual-panel moon roof for $1450. The package is only available on the midlevel SL FWD and SL AWD trims, resulting in prices of $34,060 and 35,660, respectively.

The 2010 Nissan Armada will be on sale starting in mid-May, while the 2009 Nissan Murano 360° Value Package is available now. All prices include a $780 destination charge.
