2010 Lexus LS 600h L Updates Shown at Frankfurt

The 2010 Lexus 600h L debuted at Frankfurt with several upgrades that make it an even more comfortable hybrid limousine.

For starters, the battery pack has been minimized to reduce weight and free up trunk space. A new ECO mode modifies the throttle and air conditioning to support fuel-efficient driving.

Larger 380mm Brembo brakes should reduce fade from high-speed stops.

The revised LS 600h also features a new, automatic high beam system. A rear view mirror sensor detects oncoming traffic, street lamps, and vehicles travelling ahead, automatically switching the high beams on and off according to driving situations.

The entire front end of the Lexus LS 600h L has been updated, including a new four-bar grille and revised bumper. Headlights get Lexus hybrid blue color running lights.

Inside, a new rear seat relaxation package enhances the comfort of rear passengers, with reclining seats, leg and foot rests, and a lower back massage function all operated via remote control.

A new multi-touch 40GB hard drive-based navigation system gives quick directions for almost any trip, and can also store up to 10 GB of your music.
