Following the unveiling of the 2010 Ford Fusion sedan at last week's Los Angeles Auto Show, Ford has announced the lineup and pricing. For 2010, the Fusion comes in S, SE, SEL, Sport, and Hybrid flavors.

The base S model starts at $19, 270, and includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 175 hp, and a six-speed manual transmission. That's up $235 from the 2009 S model, which came equipped with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine good for 160 hp, and a five-speed manual transmission. Standard features include electronic stability control, antilock brakes, and a tire-pressure monitoring system.

Fusion SE starts at $20,545 with the 2.5-liter I-4 paired with a six-speed manual, and adds an upgraded audio system, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and power driver's seat adjustments. $23,975 will net you a Fusion SEL with SYNC, ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, and dual-zone electric climate control. An optional 3.0-liter V-6 is available for both the SE and SEL if you have an extra $1610.

One of two new models this year, the Fusion Sport starts at $25, 825. A 3.5-liter V-6 making 263 hp, exclusive to the Sport model, is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The other new model, the Fusion Hybrid, will start at $27, 270 - a little over $1,000 more than the base price of the 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid, its closest competitor. According to Ford, this premium will net you 5 more mpg than the Camry Hybrid, though the final fuel economy numbers have not been announced. The Ford Fusion Hybrid is equipped with a 2.5-liter I-4.

Ford has not announced the destination price for the 2010 Fusion models, so expect all the base prices to jump by a few hundred dollars by the time the cars make it to dealer lots.
