Dream shopping on eBay today, I decided to see what the much-hyped and now retired GT-H rental cars are selling for. All I can say is wow.
Check out this picture of recently completed auctions on Ebay:
I understand that these Mustangs;should be;quite the collectable, but holy crap, $63,496? That's about three times the price of a base V-6 Mustang and about $20,000 more than the much badder GT500. This has to beat any other year-old American car's resale value by about three billion percent--and it's all the more shocking since 100 percent of sales were rental fleet cars. I wish I had a crystal ball to see what the GT-H will be worth in thirty years.
