2004-2008 Acura TSX Recalled Over Power Steering Issue

A faulty power steering hose has prompted Honda to recall nearly 167,000 Acura TSXs from the 2004-2008 model years.

The hose is subject to faster-than-normal wear and can develop cracks over time, leading to a loss of power steering fluid. The fluid could then come in contact with the hot engine and exhaust, generating underhood smoke. In the most extreme case, a fire could start, and there has been one reported incident of an underhood fire related to this problem.

Affected owners may call Acura Client Services at 800-382-2238 or visit owners.acura.com/recalls.
