Would you let your beloved BMW M car get this close to a madman drifting the new 2015 BMW M4? These 52 BMW owners did, although the madman in question was Chris Forsberg, an instructor for the BMW Performance driving School and a Formula Drift champion.
In this so-called “M Initiation” video, BMW recruited 52 total M cars from fans to create the shape of a BMW M logo. A brand-new 2015 BMW M4 with Forsberg at the wheel takes a wild route around the lines of cars, drifting through the corners until it eventually completes the M logo.
The M cars in question include plenty of BMW M3 models from every generation starting with the legendary E30, along with a few M5, M6, and X5M models. Most interesting are the more rare M creations, like a BMW M Coupe and a BMW 1 Series M Coupe. At the end of the video, BMW recognizes each owner and his or her car, a nice shoutout to those diehard M fanatics who were willing to put their cars in harm’s way. Luckily, Forsberg lives up to his reputation and manages to get out of the maze of M cars unscathed despite some seriously close calls.
