2013-2014 Buick Encore, Cadillac ATS; 2014 Cadillac CTS, Cadillac ELR, Chevrolet Caprice, Chevrolet SS; 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra

The Problem: The seat hook bracket assembly may not have been welded properly, meaning that the front seats may not stay in place during high load conditions such as a crash. This could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

The Fix: GM dealers will replace the lower seat track in affected vehicles free of charge.

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 124,007 vehicles total, including the 2013-2014 Buick Encore and Cadillac ATS; the 2014 Cadillac CTS, ELR and Chevrolet Caprice and SS; and 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models.

2012-2014 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX; 2013-2014 Ford Flex, Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKX, and Lincoln MKT

The Problem: The clip that secures the halfshaft may not have been installed correctly, meaning that the halfshaft could move and disconnect from the linkshaft. This would cause a loss of power to the wheels, and the vehicle could roll away when parked if the parking brake is not applied.

The Fix: If the halfshaft is found to be improperly installed after inspection, dealers will replace both the linkshaft and the halfshaft, free of charge.

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 83,250 models including the 2012-2014 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX and the 2013-2014 Ford Flex, Ford Taurus Lincoln MKX, and Lincoln MKT.

2012-2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, 2010-2015 Land Rover LR2

The Problem: A problem with a component of the front passenger’s seat airbag system may mean that the airbag could fail to deploy in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the Restraint Control Module software in affected vehicles free of charge.

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 40,551 2012-2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque and 2010-2015 Land Rover LR2 models.
