2015 Infiniti QX50, QX70 Pricing Announced

Prices for the 2015 Infiniti QX50 and QX70 luxury crossovers increase slightly for the new model year. The QX70, formerly known as the Infiniti FX, drops its optional V-8 engine; the only change for the QX50, once known as the Infiniti EX, is the inclusion of Bluetooth as standard on base models.

The 2015 Infiniti QX50 now starts at $35,995 after destination for a base model with rear-wheel drive. The QX50 Journey starts at $38,195, while adding all-wheel drive to either version of the 2015 Infiniti QX50 requires an extra $1400. All versions of the luxury crossover use a 325-hp, 3.7-liter V-6 engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The biggest change for the 2015 Infiniti QX70 is that its optional 5.0-liter V-8 engine has been discontinued. The mill isn't used anywhere else in the Infiniti lineup, and a spokesman said it was canceled for a "variety of reasons." However, for 2015 the QX70 V-6 will receive several pieces of equipment that were previously exclusive to the V-8 model, including 21-inch wheels and paddle shifters. The 2015 Infiniti QX70, which now exclusively uses a 325-hp, 3.7-liter V-6 engine, starts at $46,845 with rear-wheel drive and $48,295 with all-wheel drive. A newly available Sport package, $3550, includes the aforementioned 21-inch dark-finish wheels, dark chrome trim, adaptive headlights, and cooled front sports seats.

A refreshed version of the larger 2015 Infiniti QX80 was introduced at the 2014 New York auto show, but prices for it have not been announced.

Wow, Infiniti in my opinion is as good as any other luxury brand, but they are now matching the others when it comes to pricing, which might not be a bad thing for the brand, I wish them good luck.
