If you’ve read our review of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, you may already know that these redesigned SUVs cost more than their predecessors. GM has now released full pricing on the Tahoe and Suburban, and these new models cost $45,890 and $48,590 with destination to start, respectively.
Both of these prices are for rear-wheel-drive LS models, and represent increases of $1295 over equivalent 2014 Tahoe and Suburban models. Four-wheel-drive is a $3000 option for all models of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, and all Tahoes and Suburbans come standard with a 5.3-liter V-8 engine making 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque.
The LS models come standard with features like power front seats, keyless entry and remote start, automatic climate control, Bluetooth, OnStar, and rear park assist. Option packages for the LS include the $595 Driver Alert package that adds forward collision alert, lane departure warning, power-adjustable pedals, and GM’s vibrating Safety Alert Seat.
Stepping up to the LT—$50,995 for the Tahoe and $53,695 for the Suburban—adds leather seating, Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system, a Bose premium audio system, and active safety features like forward collision alert and lane departure warning. Two packages are available on the LT: the $2705 Luxury Package that adds pushbutton start, heated second-row seats, power-folding third-row seats, front park assist, fog lamps, and rear cross traffic and blind zone alert systems; and the $3305 Sun, Entertainment, and Destinations Package which includes navigation, a rear entertainment system, and a sunroof.
Finally, the top-trim LTZ model—$59,995 for the Tahoe and $62,695 for the Suburban—gains heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, power-folding third-row seats, pushbutton start, and a Bose surround-sound system. Available options include the same $3305 Sun, Entertainment, and Destinations Package, as well as a $1695 adaptive cruise control system and a $495 standalone navigation system.All in, a fully-loaded 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ 4WD costs $69,135, and a similarly-equipped 2015 Suburban LTZ 4WD costs a lofty $75,230.
