2012-2014 Nissan Frontier

The Problem: A circuit breaker in certain 2012-2014 Nissan Frontier vehicles might have been installed in an improper position, causing the main wire harness to face outward. The harness could wear through as a result of contact with a metal bolt, which could in turn create an electrical short and subsequent fire.
The Fix: Nissan will notify affected owners of the recall, and dealers will inspect and repair the vehicle for free. The recall and repair process with begin in early March.
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 13,535 2012-2014 Nissan Frontier units.

2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

The Problem: In 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport vehicles with leather seats, wiring may have been improperly routed during the seat installation phase. Adjusting the driver’s side seat height could damage incorrectly installed wiring for the driver’s side seat-mounted airbag. Such an instance would cause the airbag warning light to turn on and potentially prevent the airbag from deploying in the event of a crash.
The Fix: Mitsubishi will inform owners of the recall and dealers will inspect and reroute the wiring on the driver’s side seat-mounted airbag if necessary. As of now, no specific notification schedule is in place.
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 733 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport units equipped with leather seats.
