The muscle car with balance.

Meet the new Boss.
Last I heard the Camaros top speed was 155 not 130.
You want to know why people write and read stories about Camaro's and Mustang and not electric and hybrids? Because they're about as fun and entertaining as a moving sidewalk at an airport. If that's what's you're looking for gybongnarjr go some where else. This publication will continue to get my support and thousands of other because to us a car isn't transport from point A to B. Thank God for my Mustangs (I have two and my Vette) Long live the true auto fan and my someone today in a Mustang or other car run your sorry butt off the road.
IF, you want to talk about real rivalry, pick timely subjects and cars, such as new, hybrid or electric technology, hydrogen fuel and not between Government Motors (Goodby Motors) and Ford, but the World leaders of car technology and our new hybrid and electric cars. Write about new concepts in transportation, new methods of distributing the energy used by vehicles, new traffic controls, driving methods. You are writing about soon to be obsolete technology and junky muscle car retros. If you only want to entertain call the magazine Old Automobile. If you have the intelligence and the balls, you may want to research new technology and educate the readers, not just a waiter serving yesterday's meal.
I don't favor any manufacturer over another, (except for my beloved VW's)but it amazes me how the dinosaur live axle Mustang is almost even with the Camaro when racing around the track. Sure, the Camaro takes it in a straight line, (as well it should with many more ponies) but for all the bashing the Mustang receives for using a live axle, it gave the Camaro all it could handle! It also matches or beats the Camaro's g-force numbers! Amazing.
Why do you always price the 2SS Camaro without the dealers ridiculous mark-up over MSRP. I shopped to buy one for 2 solid months and the best I could do was 5K over MSRP, but would have to wait for 6 months for delivery. I bought a 2010 Mustang GT for 3K under MSRP and am happy as a Lark!!!!!
I don't know how the Camaro will do, but the Mustang has had plenty of customers. The Mustang GT also weighs less than the M3 sedan and the Audi A5. Are they dinosaurs too?
ferengoid, aren't you late for a pizza delivery in your Prius?
Didn't the Big Three get into trouble partly by building too many overpowered, overweight vehicles? The solution is - do more of the same? How many customers for 3900lb, 430hp dinosaurs are there?
"Make sure you kick his ass"....hahaha...now that's a challenge for you. I'm a Ford guy which clearly states that I'm a Mustang fan so I give it up for the Mustang. I'm not surprised that the Camaro had better acceleration than the Mustang as it has more horsepower and torque than the mustang. Still the Mustang will always be America's favorite pony as it will be for me.
Yeh...get a Toyota Hybrid Gramps.
