One word makes all the difference. With its dual high-rise exhaust stacks, wooden bed, and stepside bed, this custom emulates the Dodge Li'l Red Express performance pickup from the late 1970s. But where that had a wimpy, 360 cu in V-8, this truck has a turbocharged, 5.7-liter Hemi that makes approximately 600 hp at the rear wheels. The engine features forged pistons, billet connecting rods and intake flanges, and a sheetmetal intake manifold, and mates to a 727 Torque Flite automatic. We'd say the Hemi's estimated 175-mph top speed and 11-second 1/4-mile time are far from wimpy.
