I'm on my second 928 and have been very happy with them. They aren't as expensive to maintain or modify as some claim, just shop better and do what you can yourself. Who cares if some of the 911 geeks don't like them, they probably never drove one or were passed by one on a long straight. Remember the 912 and the 914-4? I'll take a 928 any day over those. If you want to go really fast put one on a diet, bolt  some track parts and tweek the motor to 400hp. 500-700hp is possible with turbos or stroked.

While some 911 owners may scoff at the 928's performance potential, 928 owners in the know scoff at such scoffing.
