For its size, the Mazda CX-7 is a sporty, athletic SUV. It won’t be mistaken for a sports car, but it maintains good control over body roll even when the going gets rough. For 2010 the Mazda CX-7 gets a refreshed exterior and interior, as well as a responsive 2.3-liter urbocharged inline-four cylinder. Regular soft-roaders or towers should consider the all-wheel drive option and 2.3-liter turbo, while urbanites can live happily with the two-wheel drive model with a less powerful 2.5-liter.
Driver and passenger front and side airbags come standard on the CX-7, as do front side curtains. A fold away collapsible brake pedal assembly and side impact beams are included as well.
