The Jaguar XK is one of the oldest designs that are currently in the Jaguar line up. With 4 year old styling this British style roadster offers some of the refined internal styling that you would expect from a high end car manufacturer like Jaguar. The XK offers a styling that cannot be missed and this generation offers a strong style that has been adored for years now.
The 2010 Jaguar XK comes with some new improvements that mostly offer some new power upgrades. The new more powerful V-8 offers that is right on time with the competing roadsters in its class. There are also some slight updates on interior styling that bring an even higher level of class this already hot Jag. The highest trim level of this Jaguar is found in the XKR which adds even more performance parts that give this little roadster even more performance and better handling at high speeds. The XK does offer a touch screen in dash system that allows the driver to control the navigation system among other things, overall the XK is one hot roadster.

The most important changes to the 2010 Jaguar XK range come under the hood, where the old 4.2-liter V-8 engines have been replaced with Jaguar’s more powerful 5.0-liter V-8s, again in naturally-aspirated and supercharged trim. Bodywork is updated slightly, as is the interior, which gets the electronic JaguarDrive Select gear selection knob from the XF sedan.
The XK faithfully carries the flag of the classic British roadster and minor styling updates keep the body relatively fresh. Improvements include new front and rear valances and new LED taillights.
The XK’s interior continues to improve and spices things up with the slick electronic gear selector. Jaguar’s clunky touch screen infotainment system is standard, as are a premium stereo, leather and automatic climate control.
Two new 5.0-liter V-8 engines replace the XK’s prior engine options and offer more power, a respectable 385 horsepower in naturally-aspirated trim and a stout 510 horsepower for the supercharged XKR. The transmission is programmed to be smooth for touring duty but has a sport setting. Fuel economy doesn’t suffer compared to the last model and handling is further refined.
Front, side and thorax airbags are standard on the XK for both the driver and passenger. Electronic stability and traction control, Corner Brake Control, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Emergency Brake Assist and now Understeer Logic Control are all standard.
