The Fiorano from Ferrari is another smaller car with jet like power from this well known supercar manufacturer. The Fiorano offers some of fastest performance of any model and is offering an engine that cranks out over 600 horsepower. This vehicle is made for intense speed and it delivers. The 0 – 60 rating is under four seconds and it can also propel you form 0 – 120 in about 10 seconds flat. This is one of the fastest cars on earth, which is sold to the public that is. Much of the engine technology used in this model is barrowed from Formula 1 motors and this shows when you sit in the driver’s seat and touch the gas pedal.

The Ferrari 5999 GTB Fiorano has many high end mechanics that allow it to perform well under intense speed and sharp cornering, but he special magnetized suspension system is definitely one of the most advanced and functional additions to this model. Everything about this car has been refined to perfection and there is no substitution for the amazing design and engineering technology that the Ferrari team can provide.

Bodystyle: Coupe
Engine: 6.0L V-12
Transmission: 6-speed auto-clutch manual
Models: GTB, GTO

For 2011, the limited-edition GTO version raises the 599 formula to an entirely new level. Engine output climbs to 661 horsepower, shift times drop to as quick as 60 milliseconds, handling is improved via larger tires and a thoroughly revised suspension, and weight is cut by roughly 220 pounds — making the GTO the fastest road-legal Ferrari ever.

Che bella! The 599’s bod may have the stunning curves of a youthful Sophia Loren, but it’s a hard-working aero piece, too. For instance, the “flying buttresses” behind the side windows reduce lift by 110 pounds at speed.

It’s all here: standard dual-zone climate control, power sport seats with electro-pneumatic side bolsters, Bluetooth cell-phone recognition, and more. Options include satellite navigation, 11-speaker Bose audio system with iPod connector, leather/carbon-fiber steering wheel with LED shift lights.

Even in “base” GTB trim the 599 is one of the world’s fastest cars. Top speed resides north of 200 mph (we’ve driven one to 201.5 mph before running out of room). It’s in GTO form, though, that the 599 truly transcends the laws of physics. Ferrari says the GTO can circle its private Fiorano race track a full second quicker than the vaunted Enzo!

Standard features include driver and passenger front airbags are standard, along with side impact thorax bags. Naturally, stability and traction control systems are standard, too — in fact, the 599’s F1-Trac has trickled straight down from the maker’s F1 stable.

GTB: 11 mpg city/15 mpg highway
GTO: 12 mpg city/16 mpg highway (est)
