2013 cadillac cts-v Reviews and News

2013 Cadillac CTS V Sedan Front Three Quarter
Just because you've grown up, settled down, and had a kid or two doesn't mean you can’t have fun anymore. While you may have to take a pass on that late-night partying you once did, you can stay in touch with your younger self with a car that’s fun to drive and can double as a family vehicle. However, finding a vehicle that appeals to you both as an enthusiast and a head of household isn't always easy, because compromises will have to be made both in packaging and in handling.
2013 Cadillac CTS V Frost Silver Front View
An all-new Cadillac CTS is just around the corner, but that’s not stopping Cadillac from tinkering with the outgoing second-generation model.  Two new special-edition twists on the supercharged CTS-V are set to launch next month.
Hennessey Cadillac CTS V Acceleration
Hennessey Performance is a well-known purveyor of potent domestic machinery, having cooked up habañero-level packages for the Viper, Corvette, Camaro, F-150 Raptor, and the Cadillac CTS-V. The latter uses a twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter V-8 to produce upward of 1000 hp, reportedly enough to propel the Caddy to over 200 mph. But what would be an effective larger-than-life, Texas-sized way to show the car's potential?
Texas 80 Mph Speed Limit Sign
A new toll road in Texas that opens in November will be the first highway in the state with an 85 mph speed limit, The Associated Press reports. Last month, the Texas Transportation Commission approved the 41-mile stretch after the Texas Legislature's decision in 2011 to allow 85 mph speed limits on newer constructed roads in certain parts of the state.
Hennessey Cadillac CTS VR1200 Right Rear
The saying goes, "everything's bigger in Texas." Presumably, that applies to horsepower as well, with Houston-based Hennessey Performance Engineering's latest Cadillac CTS-V-based creation burning some rubber, on the dyno, no less. How much horsepressure are we talking? According to Hennessey, 1066 hp and 964 lb-ft.
