The Audi Shooting Brake Concept is a fabulous-looking two-door show car, designed to expand the Audi design envelope. The Shooting Brake, which uses the A3 as a starting point, is essentially a coupe/hatchback crossover. The shape takes cues from the A4s that race in Germany's high-profile DTM race series as well as the awesome RSQ study featured in the movie "I, Robot."
Power comes from a 3.2-liter V-6, developing 250 hp, matched to Audi's trademark Quattro all-wheel drive. With a six-speed gearbox, Audi claims the Shooting Brake can do the 0-to-62-mph sprint in 6.0 seconds and reach 155 mph. The chassis features magnetic ride adaptive damping to keep the body flat during cornering. There's new LED headlight technology and inside, 3D satellite navigation with a touch screen monitor. Will Audi build it? We sure hope so.
