The Honda CR-V has a few revisions for 2005, and if you can spot the new lights and bumpers without seeing the old and new ones side by side, you've got sharper eyes than we do. Of more interest this year are important new standard safety features such as stability control and side and head curtain airbags. A new five-speed automatic transmission will boost performance andfuel economy a bit, and the CR-V remains one of the top picks in the cute-ute category. If they would only drop in a V-6, they'd have a winner,but without one, our eyes stray to the muscular Escape V-6.
