Peugeot 907 Concept Car

Front Left View

It's wickedly sexy, but as with most Peugeot flights of auto-show fancy, Europeans won't be seeing the 907 coupe on showroom floors any time-ever. This two-seater coupe takes the cab back, long hood proportion to heights not seen since the 1930s. It is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 engine that makes 493 horsepower and drives the rear wheels via a six-speed transaxle. The car is primarily made from carbon fiber and has a 98.4-inch-long wheelbase and an overall length of 172 inches. There are double control arms all around, and the eighteen-inch wheels are shod with suitably gigantic 275/40 Michelin tires up front and 345/35s out back. Inside, the 907 has plush trim, with brown leather and light gray Alcantara over all the surfaces, with wood inlays on the steering wheel rim and shift knob. Somewhat strangely, the 907 has a digital gauge cluster that is displayed in an analog fashion. The central touch screen controls a navigation system and MP3 player, but that's not exactly anything to write home about nowadays.
