The 2014 SRT Viper GTS, with its brutish 8.4-liter 640-hp V-10 engine and aggressively chiseled body, will get even more sinister looks with a new Anodized Carbon Special Edition package. The package features a sizable list of appearance upgrades inside and out, including a new metallic matte paint.
Totally unique and used for the first time by Chrysler, this special edition 2014 SRT Viper GTS exterior paint adds a brushed metallic sheen to the brash supercar. The matte finish emphasizes the Viper GTS’ bold body work, adding a sense of depth and complexity to prominent sections like the sculpted hood, side scoops, and raised rear decklid. Additional exterior upgrades include a satin black exhaust bezel, anodized carbon fuel filler door, gloss black GTS badging, black vapor chrome five-spoke “Rattler” wheels, orange calipers, and carbon fiber brake ducts and rear applique.
Luxury and carbon fiber accents continue into the interior of the 2014 SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon Special Edition. Door bolsters, knee blockers, and headliner are wrapped in lightweight Alcantara, with orange-accented Nappa leather covering the door trim, center console, and instrument panel. Seats are wrapped in both Alcantara and Napa leather, with carbon fiber accenting the door panels, center stack, and steering wheel. Completing the luxury package is an exclusive carbon GTS badge on the dashboard.
The Anodized Carbon Special Edition matte metallic paint joins other dynamic new color offerings for the 2014 SRT Viper, including the recently dubbed Competition Blue and show-stopping TA Orange (only available on 2014 SRT Viper TA models).
With only 50 2014 SRT Viper GTS models being built with the Anodized Carbon Special Edition package, these rare examples will likely be in high demand. The vehicle will unveil at the 2013 Los Angeles auto show, beginning November 22. Limited-production of the special edition Viper GTS is scheduled to begin in January 2014.
