This past year, Mitsubishi and PSA Peugeot Citron penned a deal. The former needed diesel engines, while the latter needed a pair of decent sport-utes. While Mitsubishi's Lancer diesel is still a year out, PSA is showing off its new family haulers here at Geneva. From the front doors back, the Citron C-Crosser and Peugeot 4007 are identical to Mitsubishi's Outlander donor car, other than different badging, unique wheels, and curvier taillights. Mitsubishi needs to produce more vehicles to stay alive, so we don't blame them for this move. But it is somewhat surprising to see Citron and Peugeot act so American with this thinly-veiled badge engineering. To be fair, they've at least made all-wheel drive standard, and the C-Crosser and 4007 will use PSA's family of diesel engines.
