2006 Volkswagen Golf Gt Front Right View

This Golf was notable for its engine, which may well appear in a U.S.-market, fuel-miser Golf in the future. It has an intriguing turbocharged and supercharged 1.4-liter in-line four-cylinder engine. The theory is that the supercharger helps low-end torque while the turbo optimizes top-end power. With 170 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque, it seems the theory works in practice.
