Sedans aren't the best-selling versions of small cars in Europe, which explains why Peugeot has launched the sedan version of its best-selling 206 well after the hatchback, station wagon, and coupe/cabriolet versions. The vehicle is most noteworthy for being produced at Peugeot's Iranian plant in Tehran, from whence it will be exported beginning in March of 2006. At launch, the 206 sedan is available with two four-cylinder engines: a 74-hp, 1.4-liter and a 107-hp, 1.6-liter.
