This is the sportiest version of Opel's best-selling mid-size sedan, using a 252-hp, turbocharged 2.8-liter V-6 engine (a derivation of the Cadillac CTS's base engine) mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Opel claims a top speed of 161 mph, which is none too shabby for a family sedan, as well as 0-to-60-mph acceleration in less than seven seconds. To complement the engine, Opel fits the OPC with a sport suspension, more aggressive styling, eighteen-inch wheels and tires, and continuously variable electronic damping.
