Daihatsu D-compact Concept

Previous Vehicle Next Vehicle

The D-compact concept previews a production SUV, and shares parts--since Daihatsu is now in the Toyota fold--with another Frankfurt introduction, the latest RAV4. The as-yet unnamed vehicle will replace the aging Terios, which has been on sale since 1997. Power comes from the same newly developed 1.5-liter in-line four that'sfitted to the HVS. It drives all four wheels via a five-speed manualtransmission.
