At the 2014 Detroit auto show, SRT announced that the 2014 SRT Viper will gain a new Grand Touring performance package as well as a new Stryker Green exterior color. This exclusive color will be available only on SRT Viper models equipped with this new GT package or with the GTS performance trim level.
The Grand Touring package is meant to incorporate some performance-enhancing features that were previously only included in the 2014 SRT Viper GTS, like a dual-mode Bilstein suspension and the special five-mode stability control system. The Viper GT will also gain Nappa leather seats and is only available in two colors: either the aforementioned Stryker Green, or Venom Black.
These special colors will join the already diverse color palette of the standard 2014 SRT Viper, which comes in a wide variety of eye-popping hues. SRT held a contest earlier this year to name a new color which ended up being called “Competition Blue,” and there is also a special Anodized Carbon package available on the 2014 SRT Viper GTS. In other words, if you want your SRT Viper to stand out even more than it already does, you’ve got plenty of options.
The 2014 SRT Viper went up slightly in price this year, so we would expect the GT package-equipped Viper to come in somewhere in between the standard car’s price of $104,480 (with destination), and the 2014 Viper GTS which starts at $126,980.
