Ahh.....here we go..   This is a pretty car.  Good job, Lincoln.

Why not? Why would they change a thing? Ford/Lincoln, it is time to get back in a game. I know you can do it . Just do it, with this beauty. Do not change a thing. Please, do not.

Lovely car, but naming this concept "MKZ" implies they're not planning to drop the confusing MK* nomenclature anytime soon. It blurs the distinctions across their entire model range and makes it hard to remember which model is which, what their respective names are, or even how many different models they have. Even changing to a fully-spelled "Mark Z" etc. would put more emphasis on the most-significant character.  Better yet, how about dropping the MK/Mark entirely (a'la Mazda's single-number models)?  There's a good reason every other mfr. with an alphanumeric nomenclature scheme puts the most-significant character first.

I did not think I would see that clean, spare Lincoln look again. This is a lovely idea, and if Ford is brave enough to keep the flanks that clean, and the greenhouse that perfect, Lincoln might have a chance.
If they do the usual "inspired by the concept" hack job, Lincoln is doomed.
On a practical note, the inner surface of the windows will have to have a non-reflective coating, or it will be impossible to see out of the car on a sunny day. The rear headrests are beautiful but ultra-thin ones that lay flat on the deck when not in use would be much cooler.

Nice to see a car from Lincoln that doesn't make me laugh out loud.  Some of the details are still a bit off (chrome wheels and fussy interior) but what a breath of fresh air.
