Because Spyker doen't design wild enough vehicles by itself (or maybe they're too wild?) the small Dutch firm teamed up with Zagato to design a flagship for its exotic lineup. The C12 Zagato, a reskinned C12 Spyder, is meant to celebrate Spyker's entry into the Formula 1 circuit (the F8-VII race car also debuted here in Geneva) with F1-style details like a pointy nose, air scoops, chimneys, aerodynamic mirrors, and a diffuser. It also incorporates a traditional Zagato design cue, the Double Bubble panoramic roof. The all-aluminum, rear-drive sports car uses a W-12 engine sourced from Volkswagen. Tuned to produce 500 hp, the 6.0-liter engine allows the C12 Zagato to reach 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. Thanks to great aerodynamics, it will reach a top speed of 193 mph. Twenty-four examples will be hand-built beginning in March of 2008, and will be sold to a handful of lucky buyers willing to lay 495,000 Euros down on the table.
