2008 Kia Cee'd Wagon

#Kia, #Rio

Kia planted its first cee'd, a five-door hatchback with styling derived from the Mazda 3, at the Geneva show last year. Since then, the cee'd has stemmed off to create a whole family tree. A production three-door based on the Paris pro_cee'd concept will come next fall in Frankfurt, and a concept convertible is also shown here at Geneva alongside the new model you see here. The cee'd Sporty Wagon (yes, that is the official name) will go on sale in Europe this year. It's based on the five-door and uses the same gas and diesel four-cylinder engines, but this wagon has been stretched 29.3 inches to offer more luggage capacity for family skiing trips in the Alps (make sure to buy the upcoming, 140 horsepower, 2.0-liter diesel to make it up the mountain.) We've been waiting for the announcement that Kia will replace the disappointing Rio with the cee'd here in America, but it still hasn't come.
