If you're the type of person who uses text messaging and E-Mail for the majority of your communication with the world, this may be the car for you. With a steering wheel and controls mimicking computer interface, Nissan is gearing their Mixim concept car for the technology-obsessed world. Power comes from two electric motors fed by compact lithium-ion batteries. There's one motor at each axle, giving the 100-inch wheelbase Nissan all-wheel drive. Despite all of this, the Mixim weighs just 2100 pounds. Inside, the driver sits in the middle of the car, flanked by two additional seats for passengers. The Mixim also offers an occasional fourth seat that sits behind the three main seats. The styling is typical Japanese concept: quite extreme. The front windshield wraps around and was inspired by the visor on a crash helmet. There are also diamond-shaped styling cues throughout the vehicle. Nissan says not to rule out the Mixim for production but we aren't so sure about that.
